Richard Smith

Richard works through the Airedale Primary Care Trust as Early Intervention in Psychosis Care Co-ordinator. He provides the training and education around mental health issues, initial assessments of mental health, advice and signposting to other agencies / services.

Richard works with young people with first episode psychosis to include early and sustained engagement, medication, psychological therapies, family support, basics of daily living, pathway to education and occupation, treating co-morbidity, relapse prevention, crisis plan, in patient and respite care, regular review discharge.
